Our IICRC Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning Technician (UFT) course is taught 100% in Spanish, giving Spanish-speaking cleaning professionals the opportunity to learn important upholstery cleaning skills without a language barrier.
Upholstery cleaning can be a profitable service, but it can also lead to costly mistakes without proper training. Different fibers and fabrics and dyes require different cleaning methods, chemistry, and precautions.
In this two-day live online course, students will learn how to:
- Identify and inspect different fibers and fabrics
- Choose the safest cleaning methods and chemistry
- How to properly test fabrics before cleaning
- Understand cleaning codes such as S, W, and X
- Safely clean delicate and challenging fabrics
- Prevent common problems such as bleeding, browning, and shrinkage and textural issues
- Recognize and solve upholstery cleaning problems
