About Your Instructors
Jeff Cutshall
Master Textile Cleaner & IICRC-Approved Instructor
With over 40 years of hands-on experience in the textile care industry, Jeff Cutshall brings a wealth of real-world knowledge and experience to every class he teaches. His career has covered nearly every level of the industry. He started as a young technician for a national franchise and went on to become a successful business owner, international consultant, speaker, and respected industry educator.
One thing that keeps Jeff’s training relevant is that he is still actively cleaning carpet today. For more than 25 years, Jeff and his wife, Rachelle, have operated a carpet cleaning business in Kansas City. He continues to work in the field, experiment with different cleaning methods, and evaluate new equipment, products, and chemistry. This allows him to bring current, real-world challenges and solutions directly into the classroom.
Jeff is a bilingual Master Textile Cleaner and IICRC-Approved Instructor who currently teaches eight different approved courses, with IICRC certification training available in both English and Spanish. Whether teaching in person or virtually, Jeff takes students beyond simply memorizing procedures. He focuses on understanding the science behind cleaning and teaches students why methods work, when to use them, and how to apply that knowledge to produce better results, avoid costly mistakes, and operate more profitably.
Jeff also has a strong interest in languages and cultures and volunteers his time working with refugees.
Above all, Jeff is passionate about teaching. His goal is to make every class practical, interactive, engaging, and fun. He wants students to leave with more than a certification. He wants them to leave with greater knowledge, greater confidence, and practical skills they can immediately put to work.
Over 40 years in the industry. Still cleaning. Still learning. Still dedicated to your success!
